Mets place OF Luis Robert Jr. on IL

New York Mets outfielder Luis Robert Jr. could be facing an extended stint on the injured list with a lumbar spine disc herniation.

The Mets placed Robert on the 10-day injured list on Thursday after an MRI exam revealed the extent of the issue that crept up Sunday. He missed the last three games and officially was moved to the injured list prior to Thursday's game against the Washington Nationals.

Infielder Eric Wagaman was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse to replace him on the active roster.

Robert, 28, is hitting .224 with a .656 OPS after a hot start to his first season in New York. The Mets acquired Robert from the Chicago White Sox in an offseason trade.

Five of his 19 hits and five of his eight RBIs this season came in the opening series against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The move is retroactive to April 27, meaning Robert could be activated as soon as May 6 if his injury responds quickly.

Injuries have hit the Mets hard in the first month-plus of the regular season. They entered Thursday with an MLB-worst 10-20 record and were 3-16 in the past 19 games.

Juan Soto (calf) returned from the IL on April 22 after missing 15 games, but Francisco Lindor (hamstring) was hurt in the same game on the bases and isn't expected to be evaluated for at least two more weeks. Starting pitcher Kodai Senga landed on the IL on Tuesday with back inflammation and two other position players -- Jorge Polanco and Jared Young -- are also out with injuries.

Streep starred as the ultimate bad boss inThe Devil Wears Prada, but she has pushed back on the idea that her character was a direct portrayal of Wintour.

Instead, the actress has said she drew inspiration from not one buttwo male directors.

“I was just basically imitatingMike Nicholsthat whole time,” she joked during an April 2026 appearance onThe Late Show with Stephen Colbert. "If Mike Nichols andClint Eastwoodhad a baby, it would be Miranda Priestly."

Despite Streep’s explanation, many fans have continued to link the formidable fashion editor to Wintour — a comparison the longtime editor has acknowledged.

“​​I said to her, I was like, ‘I just need to let you know, I'm Emily,' ” she recalled. “She was not that interested, to be honest. I thought I was gonna get this, like, huge reaction. Like, no. It was like, ‘Oh, OK.' ”

Post Malone'sBig Ass Stadium Touris apparently so big that he needs a little more time to get it right.

The "Circles" artist announced Friday that he's postponing the second part of the tour that began in 2025 so he can finish recording his upcoming double album,The Eternal Buzz.

Additionally, he canceled the first two concerts in El Paso and Albuquerque, N.M. However, it seems the second Albuquerque show on May 16 will go on asscheduled.

Post Malone, who just headlined the final night ofStagecoach, told fans that after reviewing the upcoming schedule for the Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2, "I came to the realization that what we were trying to do, and what's possible isn't really lining up."

"Truth is, I promised ya'll beautiful people new music, and I don't have time to finish it before tour starts," he wrote in an Instagram Story. "THAT being said, we been making some badass s‑‑‑ for this double album… and I can't wait to perform for ya'll again."

The Eternal Buzz, the follow-up to 2024'sF-1 Trillion, will reportedly feature 20 songs on each album.

In an interview withBillboardat Stagecoach, Post Malone revealed that he'd already completed 35 of the 40 tracks.

"I sit there and listen to these songs, and I usually hate listening to my music," he said, "but listening to the band play, I get so excited."

In aMay 1 Instagram post, the Princess of Wales revealed the name of their one-year-old dog.

The puppy appears to be the son of the royal couple's black cocker spaniel Orla, who joined the family in 2020, as Kate revealed in February that they kept one male puppy from her 2025 litter. Orla has made several royal appearances, from birthday portraits to charity events.

Otto made his public debut in a family photoshared on Instagram on April 29, celebrating the 15th anniversary of William and Kate's marriage. The photo showed the couple lying on the grass alongside their three children, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 8, as well as the two dogs.

The couple welcomed their first dog, a black cocker spaniel named Lupo, soon after their 2011 wedding. Lupo, who was a gift from Kate's brother, James Middleton, died in 2020.

For their 14th wedding anniversary in 2025, Kate and William returned to Scotland, where they met at the University of St Andrews, for a two-day visit and work trip to the Isles of Mull and Iona.

Their latest anniversary comes afterKing Charles IIIandQueen Camilla's historic visit to the United States, their first since ascending to the throne. The pair returned to England on April 30, walking off a helicopter and bidding farewell to British Ambassador to the U.S. Christian Turner, marking the end of the four-day state visit.
