Kaden Wetjen gives Steelers elite return specialist on Day 3 of NFL draft

ThePittsburgh SteelersselectedIowawide receiver Kaden Wetjen in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL Draft on Saturday, April 25. Wetjen, a 5-9, 193-pound prospect, began his college career in the junior college ranks before taking a preferred walk-on opportunity at Iowa. He became an electric weapon for the Hawkeyes. While he did appear on offense, his explosiveness was particularly evident on special teams.

USA TODAY Sports

Wetjen is the first two-time Jet Award winner, given to the most outstanding return specialist in college football. Wetjen finished his Iowa career with six combined punt and kick return touchdowns.USA TODAY Sports' draft analyst Ayrton Ostly called Wetjen "one of the best return specialists in college football history who is an elusive open-field runner." However, according to Ostly, Wetjen's "smaller catch radius limits his ceiling as a slot receiver."

Steelers Kaden Wetjen selection grade: C+

This might seem a bit early for Wetjen, but he's a big play in a bottle. He can flip the field in a hurry as a returner and give an electric element to Pittsburgh and its methodical approach. Still, the price is fairly exorbitant for a player who might not be much of a factor in the pass game beyond some scattered manufactured touches. –Jacob Camenker, USA TODAY Sports

The third episode ofEuphoriaseason 3, titled "The Ballad of Paladin," brings the majority of the cast into the same room once again for Cassie and Nate's nuptials.

In the weeks leading up to the event, Cassie had been determined to get her dream wedding, from convincing her fiancé to spend $50,000 on flowers to reconnecting with her ex-best friend, Maddy (Alexa Demie).

But it wouldn't be a reunion of East Highland High School alums — including Rue (Zendaya) and Jules (Hunter Schafer) — without some drama. The celebration quickly spirals into chaos as shocking revelations surface and unexpected guests arrive, threatening to ruin Cassie's vision of the perfect day.

Here's everything to know about what happens during Nate and Cassie's wedding in the third episode ofEuphoriaseason 3.

Warning: Spoilers ahead forEuphoriaseason 3 episode 3.

Why does Jules drop out of school?

At the start of the episode, a flashback gives viewers more insight into how Jules became a sugar baby.

With some encouragement from her art school roommate Vivian, Jules goes on a date with a lawyer who has "severe intimacy issues" and a kink for nylons.

When he pays her for her time, she soon realizes that going on two dates a month with him will cover her rent, leading her to trade in her life as an art student for one as a sugar baby.

Jules goes on several more dates with older men, including a married plastic surgeon named Ellis who "[slices] women open for a living."

Ultimately, Jules leaves art school, takes on Ellis as her sole client and earns far more than she ever imagined.

A lot goes down at Cassie and Nate's dream wedding-turned-nightmare. Soon after saying "I do," their big day is interrupted by the arrival of an uninvited guest, Naz (Jack Topalian), who threatens to become Nate's "worst f---ing nightmare."

Naz’s revelation that Nate owes him money sends Cassie spiraling out of fear of being poor. As she proceeds to have a meltdown, she accidentally launches a cork right into her groom's face.

After a very public fight in front of their friends and family, the not-so-happy couple leave their wedding hand-in-hand and head into a limousine, where Nate apologizes for turning the "most beautiful day" of Cassie's life into a mess and vows to "make love" to her when they arrive home.

Why does Naz attack Nate?

At the wedding, Naz tells Nate he is in debt to him for over half a million dollars following a failed development project.

To that end, Nate's extravagant wedding infuriates Naz, who thinks Nate has the ability to pay him back but is holding out on him.

Just when Nate and Cassie seem to be turning their wedding night around, the newlyweds arrive home to Naz and his sidekick waiting for them in their home.

Nate asks Naz to talk, but it's not long before Naz's guy begins beating him up.

Cassie begins to sob, not so much because her husband is being thrown around their home, but because she is bleeding on her wedding night. "It was supposed to be the best day of my life," she cries.

Nate promises to pay Naz back, but things escalate further when Naz tells Nate that his "honeymoon's over" and proceeds to cut his pinky toe off.

What is going on with Alamo and Laurie?

Rue's old and new employers have been in an ongoing feud ever since she delivered drugs from Laurie (Martha Kelly) to Alamo (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) that were laced with fentanyl.

During the wedding, Rue receives a call from Alamo telling her that she needs to leave to visit Laurie and her crew, a ploy to get some continued revenge.

Laurie and her group think that she is being sent for the meeting to pick up drugs, and view it as an opportunity to get her back — or kidnap her.

In reality, Alamo has set the meeting up as a way to get his fixer Bishop (Darrell Britt-Gibson) inside to poison Laurie's favorite among her birds, a white cockatoo named Paladin.

While Rue and Bishop are successful in their bird-murder plot, things turn south when Rue is pulled over on her drive home.

But, it's not a police officer doing an ordinary traffic stop — it's a Drug Enforcement Administration agent looking specifically for Rue.

Maury Povich tells Ricki Lake why she 'scared the s---' out of other talk show hosts

Maury Povich had former daytime talk show rival Ricki Lake on his podcast, On Par With Maury Povich.

Key Points

  • The Cry-Baby actress had 'scared the s--- out of the rest' of the hosts at the time, he told her, because she was a fresh-faced twentysomething competing against older people.

  • Lake explained, as she has in the past, that she eventually decided to leave her show in the wake of 9/11.

Maury Povichand his contemporaries were terrified of Ricki Lake when her talk show debuted in 1993.

"You scared the s--- out of the rest of us," Povich told her on Monday's edition ofOn Par With Maury Povich. "When Ricki came on, you have to understand, the '90s were the golden age of daytime talk shows. I mean, there were 20 of us on the air, and most of us were in our 40s and 50s and maybe even older. And here comes this 23-year-old who gets the youngest audience of us all, and we were scared s---less."

Lake, the show's guest star, noted that many of her competitors made changes after her series premiered, two years after the debut ofMaury.

"Well, you changed your formats, a lot of you," Lake said. "You changed the tone of the show. I don't know if I want credit for all of it."

Povich, whose ownMaurybecame known for its paternity tests ("You arenotthe father!"), explained that talk shows of the era started "kind of tame" before they became the site of infamously bad behavior onThe Jerry Springer Show,The Jenny Jones Show, and more.

Lake noted that, when she entered the marketplace, the genre was "skewing over 50."

After she left in 2004, Povich was "the youngest skewing," he said. Povich stayed on the air until 2022.

The end of their shows was also a topic of their conversation, with Povich noting that both left on top.

"I could've done it for maybe a decade longer," Lake said. "I made that choice... 9/11 was a huge trajectory shift in my life. Every aspect of my life changed from witnessing that experience that day from my West Village apartment. I was so freaked out watching that plane fly down the Hudson and hit that building."

She recalled being a young mother to sons Milo, now 29, and 24-year-old Owen, whose father is Lake's ex-husband Rob Sussman.

"I had a 2-month-old and a 4-year-old. I was a lactating new mother protecting my cubs. I just felt like the world was coming to an end that day, and I had an epiphany on the roof of my building, as I watched it all unfold, that I would leave New York, that I would leave my job, and I would leave, ultimately, my marriage," Lake explained. "And it took a lot of planning, it took a couple of years to finish my contract — I couldn't walk away from my show — but I knew I wasn't going to renew beyond that, the term that I had agreed to."

She eventually relocated to California and began "making documentary films and being more behind the scenes."

Lake added, "I felt like, though the show was a phenomenon, and I think we did so much good for young people, to get conversations going for people who were marginalized and not represented to be seen on television. I think there's a lot of good that came out of our show, but, for me personally, I was like an actor for hire in a lot of ways. My producers did the whole thing. I didn't have a voice, really."

Since she left daytime TV, Lake has executive-produced projects including the 2008 docThe Business of Being Bornand 2021'sThe Business of Birth Control. She's also acted in TV series such asDrop Dead DivaandCrazy Ex-Girlfriend.
