A former Manchester United midfielder could not hold back the tears after suffering another setback just five minutes into his return from injury. The 35-year-old, who spent five years on the books at Old Trafford, was brought on as a second-half substitute for current side Boca Juniors away at Newell's Old Boys, with the visitors trailing 2-0. Ander Herrera has missed six of Boca's 11 league games through injury since arriving in January and was making his return after being sidelined for their battering of Defensa on 16 March.

Liverpool are set to return to Asia this summer for a two-leg pre-season tour with stops in Hong Kong and Japan. The Reds will play AC Milan in Hong Kong 20 years on from the famous 2005 Champions League final in Istanbul, before travelling to Japan for the first time ever. That game will take place on Saturday July 26 at the newly-opened Kai Tak Stadium. Details have not been finalised for the matches in Japan but the visit there comes after a deal with Japan Airlines.

The 29-year-old Olsson, who graduated from the Arsenal academy in 2013, has been rehabilitating after losing consciousness at his home on February 20 last year and being diagnosed with several small blood clots in the brain as a result of an extremely rare blood-vessel inflammation.
